Black Up-Pointing Double Triangle

Black Up-Pointing Double Triangle at U+23EB is an emoji-style symbol showing two stacked upward triangles, used to suggest moving upward, speeding up, or jumping ahead. It belongs to the Miscellaneous Technical block and is commonly treated as a media-control or interface symbol rather than ordinary punctuation. Its clearest real-world use is in digital controls and emoji communication for “fast up,” “increase quickly,” or “go to the top.” In messages, people may use ⏫ to mean a rapid rise in volume, rank, price, energy, or intensity, as in a post saying sales are ⏫ after a promotion. It also appears in UI-like text where paired triangle symbols imitate buttons: alongside down, forward, or rewind controls, it can suggest upward navigation or a high-speed upward step. In charts, gaming chat, and social media, it is often a shorthand for boosting, leveling up, scrolling upward, or emphasizing that something is trending higher.
