Glagolitic Small Letter Fritu

Glagolitic Small Letter Fritu at U+2C47 is the lowercase form of a Glagolitic letter used for writing historic Slavic texts. It belongs to the Glagolitic block, which encodes the alphabet created for Old Church Slavonic and later regional Church Slavonic traditions. In real use, it appears mainly in scholarly editions, paleographic studies, and digital transcriptions of Glagolitic manuscripts. Researchers may use it when reproducing Croatian Glagolitic or Church Slavonic material where the corresponding letter occurs in the source, preserving the manuscript spelling rather than modernizing it into Cyrillic or Latin script. It is also useful in font development, Unicode charts, keyboard layouts, and educational resources about the Glagolitic alphabet. Outside those specialist settings it is uncommon, so readers may encounter it more often in alphabet tables or manuscript facsimile metadata than in continuous modern prose.
