Crossed Fingers: dark skin tone

crossed fingers with U+1F91E shows a hand with the index and middle fingers crossed, a common gesture for hoping something turns out well or wishing for luck. It can also imply a promise made with a hidden loophole, depending on the wording around it. In everyday messages, people send it before exams, interviews, dates, medical results, travel plans, contests, and any moment where the outcome is uncertain. It often reads as “wish me luck,” “I hope so,” “fingers crossed,” or “please let this happen,” usually with a hopeful, slightly anxious tone. It also appears in teasing replies when someone is not fully confident, such as hoping plans do not fall through or joking that a prediction will age well. Common pairings include prayer hands, four-leaf clover, sparkles, heart, worried faces, and celebration emoji to shift the mood from nervous optimism to encouragement or victory.
